Running and Reading

I’ve got a couple of videos for you to watch today. They’re only short and they’re from one of the most underrated inspirational person of our generation.

As with anything in life, take what is useful, reject whit is not and add what is uniquely your own. So it doesn’t have to actually be running and reading, it could be any other form of physically challenging exercise and any form of learning.

When you’re exercising and there’s that little voice inside your head that’s telling you that…

it’s hard, I’m so tired, there’s no way I can continue

…and you want to quit, learn how to BEAT THAT PERSON INSIDE YOUR HEAD and you’ll learn how to not quit in when things get hard in life.

The person who works the hardest wins.

Whatever it is in life, the person who works the hardest wins.

If you want to try to win (or get a results) without putting in the work then good luck to you, let me know how you go.

But if you’re willing to put in the work don’t be afraid to get help. Hire a coach, hire a mentor so that your efforts are giving you the best ROI. This will enhance your results or speed up the process but don’t lose sight of the fact that these results in life still come down to putting in work.

There are no new problems in the world.

Someone has already had ‘your’ problem and solved it and they’ve quite possibly written a book on it!

These days we’ve got instant access to books, videos, people on the other side of the globe.

The access to the information isn’t the problem. If getting results was just about having the information we’d all be happy billionaires with six packs! Having access to the information is one thing, seeking it out and TAKING ACTION with that information is how you will fix the problem.

All too often we can be the person holding ourselves back.

It’s time to defeat the little voice in your head when things get tough in the gym.

Work harder. Don’t be out worked.

Get help in areas you aren’t an expert.

Use their knowledge and support, then multiply it by the hard work and self belief from the first two steps.

I’m not going to be representing Australia for anything that I’m aware of but that’s not going to stop me trying to be the best version of myself.

The harder you work in the gym, the more victories you can have with that little voice, the better you’ll become outside of the gym. #fullcircle
